Who We Are

Legacy & Mission

History

Family Health Matters has a long history of providing compassionate, comprehensive and culturally sensitive health services to every patient regardless of their ability to pay or health insurance status. Family Health Matters began as The Women’s Center and in 2008 expanded to become a state-licensed community clinic. In 2012, we were designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center. For over 30 years, Family Health Matters has been at the forefront of affordable community-based health and wellness in North Orange County and intends to carry this legacy forward for many years to come.

We believe healthcare is a human right. Look to us for comprehensive medical care, family planning, mental health, vision and dental services. We also offer wellness and education programs, community food pantry events, and enrollment assistance for federal and state programs.

We accept Medicare, CalOptima Medi-Cal, Children’s Health Insurance Program and many private insurance plans. We offer eligible patients (uninsured and insured) a sliding fee schedule based on income and household size. We will help you enroll in federal and state assistance programs if needed.

Vision

To help the communities we serve stay healthy, get well and live better.
